What I don't understand is if the US is such a racist country then why are there so many laws preventing racism? Why are there black people in every possible important position in the country (judges, mayor's, police chief's, President!!! etc) What makes these black people different to others? Is it that they chose not to drop out of school? Or chose not to get pregnant out of marriage? Or chose not to turn to crime?
You see, if you choose to do these things, or anything else that prevents you from becoming the best you can be, simply because you feel the world will judge you or hold you back simply because of your skin colour, then the ONLY person oppressing you is YOU.
Take responsibility for your own lives, stop making excuses.
