Requiring a connected account cut back on alt use. Generally, that's been a good thing imo.

Hardly cuts down on alt use. The fact that this site has died a lot lately explains the lack of alts.

Bruh, back when Google alts were a thing, people had several accounts because they were incredibly easy to make. Now, the only people I know with multiple alts are either extremely dedicated trolls or have been banned for longer than a month (two of them for something like 200 years).

I wasn't calling for Google accounts to be allowed. Btw many members have 2+ Alts.

It also cut off all the old guard, or any new joe who likes the discussion and wants to participate. Alts are still not hard to make, you just have to play the first level of destiny.

all u gotta do is start up destiny. you dont even have to play it just goto character creation, you dont even have to create a character

They're enough of a hassle that a casual troll isn't going to put forth the effort to make 20 of them.
