If a god exists, we likely will never know so I don't see the point. Organized religion is silly to pretend that they understand it all, and pretentious to think that our lives would have any significance to said god. Why are you interested in joining an Abrahamic religion, anyway? And why leave Judaism out of it?

Because I've established the fundamental belief within my own opinion that I believe in the Abrahamic God. I left out Judaism because I've ruled it out based off of their legalistic ways. I also think that sure, we are insignificant to any God, but does that mean that the worship of such a powerful deity is inherently foolish?

  • I think worship is foolish if said God doesn't care about being worshipped. However, like you said, you believe the abrahamic God is real. So you do you then... Maybe read both holy books and decide for yourself?
