Extra armor bro even +1 can help in a 1 on 1! It's one of the very few exotics that can have a benefit for all three classes. Even +meh is ok! If I'm running sun singer and don't want to use solar nades and the ram gives me my best light level balance I'll use it.

The Ram used to be god-tier viable on all subclasses. Now? Meh at best.

With max armour + radiant skin + ram + solar armour I've heard you can tank a golden gun shot. Haven't tried it though, gotta keep that tlaloc charged

This guy gets it. I do the same thing. Extra armor is never a bad thing.

Yeah, that used to be the case, but since golden guns base damage got buffed, I'm sure it doesn't work anymore.
