Never get the small candies for edibles. Ever.
You'll have a stomach ache or sugar rush before the high kicks in. They make tootsie roll size candies that are 100-200mg a peice. The same as all those candies but in a smaller package. Cheeba chews are also pretty good. That's what I get when I buy edibles.
You can also get vaporizors. Which work great for travelling or being discrete since they don't stink at all. Only drawback is not as potent.
There are also pills you can buy. Another thing I prefer. You can get sativa, indica, hybrid, sleep, relax, energy, cbd, and a few more. Here is the brand I get http://stratosthc.com/
Dunno much about the rec prices since I'm medical and only go to the med dispensaries.

Really? I never had that issue with the candies. It effected my family but my tolerance was too high. We didn't get a stomach ache or sugar rush lol. I own a vaporizer but I don't like to cross borders with product/paraphernalia. Are the prices cheaper with a medical card? I've always wondered what the difference is besides quantity you can carry.

Heck yeah they're cheaper. A gram of flower is $8-10. Same quality. A gram of concentrates is $25-50 depending on what kind and potency. I remember going to a rec place in Denver and a place locally (for me) that was charging $80-$120 for a gram of the same stuff. Don't remember the flower prices though. But, I highly recommend the cheeba chews. I'm a very heavy smoker myself and they still do the trick for me
