well we have the vanguard playlist, vanguard bounties, patrols, nf, to name afew! sorry if its not enough for you! dont do any of these activities dont get banguard rep! raid gives you raid gear!

It's just an upscale, more time consuming version of a strike. (Raids give you raid gear) Yeah. That point would be valid if the gear was actually relevant and better, like in y1. I haven't done a single kf raid since it's release. And my main is at a 334. Keep in mind I haven't played in over a month, when I did play, I played for maybe 2 hours every other day. Because I have a life, getting on at reset, and raiding three times was not an option for me. Why take a chance at a raid, and get shit. When I can do strikes, and crucible, and trials when I can get those rewards and GET REP at the same time. In conclusion, the raid should offer more than just gear. It's the most time consuming part of the game. Pve's prime target. Saying not getting rep for raid is like saying you shouldn't get rep while playing trials. Idiotic.

raids are not time consuming, i doubt that adding 500 vanguard rep would make you do them!

But after a point those activities give nothing decent besides rep as their rewards. People spend most of their time and effort getting through raids when those are newer, and there are only so many hours in which to play games for the majority of players. Let the raid boss sections give rep, it's appropriate, and should be about the equivalent of a strike as far as rep rewards go.

Bungie develops cinematic introduction and furnishes something close to a storyline about said raid bosses. Raids are considered the pinnacle of Destiny PvE. Why not get faction and vanguard rep for completing them? It's no skin off my back if they don't, but it's an idea I had and would make for a great addition.
