That is an interesting theory. May hold up to. Can't wait for the questline. Should be good.

I thought about it because when Dregen Yor is having his last conversation with his ghost his name is redacted. So maybe it's because he was an Iron Lord and he did something that got him banished. He went to the moon and went mad corrupting his hand cannon the rose and turning it into thorn.

That's a good one but Felwinter was a Warlock. Maybe Felwinter and Dregen were rivals and Felwinters Lie is what sparked the whole thing.

He could be anyone really, but Bungie did say they want a reason to bring things back. Like with gjallarhorn. Could mean something that they are bringing it back now. Really want to know more about his story arc. Hopefully there will be more grimoire on him as well as in the questline.

That's true and honestly the lore behind Dregen,Thorn, TLW. Is my favorite tied with Saint 14. They could literally make movies off of those two stories.
