- Quicker to set up and load up a console - No Splitscreen - Smaller and more convenient to place a console as opposed to a large PC - Many great exclusives that are only on consoles. - You won't build a PC for the same amount you can buy a console and have it run games as well as they do. - Multiplayer games often find themselves with much less hackers and/or modders than PC. - Certain Multiplayer games will run better on consoles because everybody is running the game from the exact same hardware, therefore easier to maintain. - Easier & Friendlier interface than PC - Voice control options I realise PC has advantages as well, but hey OP asked :)

Nope. Use a fast SSD as your boot drive; and even take it one step further if you like and set up Steam to start in big picture mode at boot up. Not only does it support split screen, it supports multiple screens. The problem is that most games don't support split screen, which is actually a byproduct of consoles not being able to handle it effectively. Mini ITX cases exist which are the same size as a console. For every one exclusive title on a console, PC has at least 50. Yes you can build a PC for the same price as a console and achieve the same or in most cases better performance; look no further than the Potato Masher. There are cheaters and exploiters on all platforms, no more, no less. That makes no sense, and isn't even close to true. 9 times out of 10, if a game is poorly optimized it is across all platforms. Big Picture mode is the "console" interface you're looking for. PC has infinitely more voice control options than consoles. I truly have no idea where you came up with that lie.

  •
- Quicker to set up and load up a console
No? Same wires, same amount of steps, not much more to it, it's not very complicated.
- No Splitscreen
Actually a lot of local multiplayer/Splitscreen games and mods out there f9r different games, even then local Multiplayer is dying out on every system.
- Smaller and more convenient to place a console as opposed to a large PC
A micro ITX tower then, can even be smaller than a console, yet fit all of the components
- Many great exclusives that are only on consoles.
Many great exclusives on the PC, but still don't see how that's an upside, exclusives are a cancer in the gaming industry, everyone should be able to play the same games. The main reason there are a lot of exclusives are on PC is because it is an open source platform, the devs don't have to get permission from Sony or Microsoft and they get to develop with no hardware limitations.
- You won't build a PC for the same amount you can buy a console and have it run games as good as they do.
Yes you can. And it crushes 1080p/60fps on most games, which consoles really can't do in the first place.
- Multiplayer games often find themselves with much less hackers and/or modders than PC.
I'm going to need a source on that very bold claim, anti cheat systems exist, and there's nothing stopping people from buying a flash drive to insert into their console.
- Certain Multiplayer games will run better on consoles because everybody is running the game from the exact same hardware, therefore easier to maintain.
That is not true in any way whatsoever, Directx is a thing.
- Easier & Friendlier interface than PC
Its easier and simpler because there is far fewer features and more restrictions on console, PC interfaces seem like rocket science to people who don't regularly use a computer.
- Voice control options
>implying so many people use them
I realise PC has advantages as well, but hey OP asked :)
PC is objectively better in nearly every way.
- Quicker to set up and load up a console

No? Same wires, same amount of steps, not much more to it, it's not very complicated.
-A big PC could take several minutes to boot up, this tied in with putting in your password and waiting for the desktop to load and then waiting for steam to load and potentially having to log into steam. It takes a while longer.
- No Splitscreen

Actually a lot of local multiplayer/Splitscreen games and mods out there f9r different games, even then local Multiplayer is dying out on every system.
Various Splitscreen mods that absolutely no one will use as opposed to a built in feature that's professionally designed. And Splitscreen isn't dying out, it's very much there, more common amongst indie games but there non the less and is still a very good feature to have.

Never said there wasn't great exclusives on PC, merely stating an upside to consoles. And if you're one of those people that really believe "hurr durr exclusivz r killin da gamez industree" then you're a moron, exclusives have been around for years and it's a fantastic way of boosting sales and popularity of a product which literally most companies do... And yeah there's a load of exclusives on PC, it's a real shame 98% of em are pure rubbish. Most of the good ones however are happily finding their ways to consoles.
- You won't build a PC for the same amount you can buy a console and have it run games as good as they do.

Yes you can. And it crushes 1080p/60fps on most games, which consoles really can't do in the first place.

Building at PC at that price will cost you more in the long run due to constant hardware upgrades.
- Multiplayer games often find themselves with much less hackers and/or modders than PC.

I'm going to need a source on that very bold claim, anti cheat systems exist, and there's nothing stopping people from buying a flash drive to insert into their console.
It's pretty obvious hacking and modding is much more abundant on PC as that's where it originates. Modding in the PC community is also huge, and whilst big AAA games aren't likely to see it, smaller indie games with weaker anti cheat systems are going to be much more prone. And current gen consoles are much harder to hack or mod.
- Certain Multiplayer games will run better on consoles because everybody is running the game from the exact same hardware, therefore easier to maintain.

That is not true in any way whatsoever, Directx is a thing.
Mainly directed towards SΠgames were said to work better for this very reason, games like PS2, Warthunder, etc.
- Easier & Friendlier interface than PC

Its easier and simpler because there is far fewer features and more restrictions on console, PC interfaces seem like rocket science to people who don't regularly use a computer.
PC interfaces can seem like rocket science? Not sure how brain dead you are but even my Nan can easily navigate a PC.
- Voice control options

>implying so many people use them
Well do some research bud because it's highly used and effective on the Xbox one.
I realise PC has advantages as well, but hey OP asked :)

PC is objectively better in nearly every way.
"If my PC had a flesh light installed I'd fucl Irving.*" Fix'd.
