Actually hadn't tried that. Might help prolong it. This is a recent change though, and i haven't changed settings on anything. Makes me think it has to be something failing

All things fail over time. Have you looked into it online?

I have, but not enough to narrow it down. Best case scenario, voltage issue. Worst case, shits starting to fry and i just gotta deal with it until it completely goes out or i get a new one

It could be the display. What kind of tv is it? (Brand/model)

http://www.ehow.com/how_8413548_tell-plasma-tv-gone-bad.html Found this interesting article about plasma TV pictures. I Read a little bit, but you know more about what's happening with your TV. If something similar to the article is happening. I did come across the buffer boards online for about 15 bucks. Take a look. Hopefully this gets you in the ball park.

Thank you, that actually helps a lot. Reading that, it makes me think it's one of the replaceable parts. It's not a permanent burn in, i flickers between perfectly fine and hazy in one area, makes me think it's not a pixel problem. Might be wishful thinking, cus damn i love this tv.

That sounds pretty similar to what I read in the article. Bust out the shot gun, and replace them all. (That's a troubleshooting technique we use from time to time). 😂 Especially if you can get them at 15 bucks a pop, rather than forking out 500+ bucks for a brand new one. I'd fight like hell to keep it too. I like LGs.

I'm thinking that's what I'll end up doing once i get a bit of spare cash. This one's really nice. I know plasmas aren't the best for gaming, but this one had never had a permanent burn in, and games get played on that thing a LOT. And since its not a wide screen, it looks bigger than my cousin's 72". I really don't want it to die, it'd be so hard to go back to the little tvs. Lol
