  • It is still only a rumor, but a persisting one so it is likely to hold some truth. Honestly I don't think they are focused on competing with them instead the try to improve on the handheld market where they are still a strong contender. To be fair a powerfull handheld which can connect to an TV with good controlers isn't a bad idea.

    • The only game I saw confirmed for it so far is a new Sonic game. Gee, what an exciting launch title. It does interest me that the game is also on ps4, which means the game either has shitty graphics or Nintendo finally created a system more powerful then the Gamecube.

      • I think Nintendo wants to offer something different while unifying their console and handheld divisions. Saves me money and I'm hopeful the thing will sell alongside Xbox and PlayStations.

      • While I'm not sure it will compete, I'm still hopeful. Nintendo is working on launch titles right now(something Wii U lacked) and is even supporting 3rd party titles. That said, if a Metroid prime 4 doesn't exist for the nx(evidence says it likely is in development, but then again, all we know is that Retro is interested in making a Prime 4 for the NX), it's a no-go for me.

      • PS4 will keep being my main, but it depends on the game, when Pokémon 7th gen comes out 3DS will be my main for months. I plan to get the NX

        • No, although it may be with the primary device each already have the same thing (PS Vita, W10 crossplay, 3DS)

        • No. I have no desire to carry around a larger Vita
