Look man I like you. I really do. I see you fighting the anti nerf fight every day on these forums. But power creep is a real thing. I like having halo kill times. Not COD. I want to have a chance to out gun my opponent if I see them a second late.

If they get the drop on you, you should lose, simple. Your job from there is to do as much damage to him/her in order to help your team mates

I'm not saying some dude hit you with a single bullet from an AR and therefore you should have no chance. That's not realistic. It [b]is[/b] very realistic for someone to put serious damage on you before you can return fire. People with your mentality have little interest in taking cover, which is exactly what you ought to be doing. Instead you hold firm to this unreasonable belief that you should be able to engage the other guy and still have a reasonable chance at winning. That's really, really, really, really, really silly. This game is already hugely dependent on hitting multiple crit shots consistently and repeatedly in order to win. Your thought process wants to slow things down even further. It's really no wonder why shotguns and snipers are so popular. They kill quickly and many times in a single shot. You are wanting to water down primaries even further. All you would be doing is furthering the "secondary as a primary" play style that many players, myself included, have adopted.

Why not ad some "death vision" or something else beguise all you want is destiny to become like CoD: a game where it requires no skill to make kills. The thing i like about destiny is that the guy with the most skill, not the best weapen, mostly of the time wins. If you are not one of those skilled guys than go play CoD.

No they way your saying it is, if you shoot first you should automatically win, just because the other guy hit me first shouldn't mean he automatically wins, if its like that then all guns might as well 1 shot, golden gums everywhere because I guess there's no point in having it any other way

That is [b]EXACTLY[/b] as it should be. My ego doesn't control my logical thinking. Somebody is shooting you and reducing your health/shield. They have a huge advantage over you at that moment. Logic would say that they should win the fight. Your ILLOGICAL thinking is leading you to believe that you should still have a reasonable chance to win the fight. That's your ego talking.

Egotistic behavior is far more prevalent the younger they are and what you said about them thinking they DESERVE a chance to win by fighting back reminds me of how I take my kids to sporting events for them to compete in and NOBODY ever loses. Hell-most of the time they don't keep score and you know what? It's the dumbest shit ever. I feel bad that my son has to grow up in such a shitty time.

No. That's where gun skill comes in. If I can turn around and outgun you then I'm better. You can't do that in CoD. I don't want it to be who sees who first.

I'm sorry. I turn on people in COD all the time and win even with the fast TTK. That's skill. It's knowing the map, my skills, where to be, and where not to be. You should not be allowed to eat damage just so you can use your "special" to reley on way to much. If your hard scoping and I get the drop on you you should not be able to eat the damage till you can turn aim and pop a lucky head shoot or use a panic super. If your useing a shootgun you should not be able to close in from across the map IN THE OPEN and eat damage from my primary till your in the effective range of your gun. Special should be used in SPECIAL CASES. Not as a primary. You should fear a primary just as much as any other gun

I don't use a sniper. And I outgun people with primaries. Where did I say I just quick scope with a special. That exists in CoD to by the way. If you like that game so much then just go play it and leave destiny alone.

Examples. Never said you done it. Get off your high horse. TTK (on primary guns) need to be faster to compete with specials what the point I was making.

I agree with that to an extent. I think some of the primary archetypes need help but a lot of them are fine where they are at. Most of them have around a 1 second kill time. That's pretty good.
