This is middle school level story writing, if lucky then maybe 9th grade at most. The names are distasteful, ending could be seen from a mile away, overall just a cliché story. While I'll agree with your comment about taking things too personally (I tend to do just that, more often than I should), we all start somewhere. I go back and read some of my older stuff from time to time to remind me how much I've improved. And whether this series is good or bad, it's all meant in good fun. I'm sure Sal will return to this one day and smile because he'll have improved. I've seen my fair share of predictable endings that were really good. Not because they were predictable, but because the predictable bits were done [i]well[/i]. Anyway, I don't mean to lecture. Thanks for reminding little ol' me that I don't have to take criticism so personally. (Even if that's not what you meant to do.) :)

Seems the replies section doesn't let you go further down. Him and I cleared things up, I gave better criticism about the plot & characters could be a bit better.

Oh no, I didn't mean to imply you hadn't. I apologize if it came across that way. I just wanted to offer my 2 cents. And I sincerely meant it when I said thank you. I take criticism too harshly, way too often. I'm a perfectionist and I let stuff like that get to me, despite reminding myself not to let it happen. Watching you guys sort it out reminded me of that. So sincerely, thank you. :)
