But for some unknown reason, Quria never attempted to introduce a worm larva into its Vex mind fluid.
This part of the story always fascinated me. I would imagine the worm wanted to be introduced to the Vex mind fluid much as it wanted to be introduced into the Hive biology. I strongly believe it is because Quria surmised that if the Vex ever stopped destroying and the worm was in their mind fluid, the worms would devour them, as they would devour the Hive. But the question remains: how could Quria know that?
My Speculation and understanding has led to this personal FanTheory: The Vex ultimately have deduced that Entropy leads the universe and time itself to end and seek to survive this end by writing themselves into the fabric of reality...basecode of the universe...to establish themselves as an undeniable law of physics. Thanks to Crota's error the Vex discover the existence of an Overworld dimension and its governing sword logic further expanding their understanding and options. however the worst of this is the discovery of the Ahamkara(worms) because the Ahamkara may have already preformed this feat through the logic of the Deep, killing provides power and enhances ones will... the Ahamkara can alter reality through thoughts and words... but why would this be bad?
Eir, Yul, Ur, Xol, and Akka are all the massive 'Worms' ,or as some mention 'Wish Dragons'. The Oryx in the raid is massive but as the grimoire mentions that his ship, the dreadnaught, is a cut apart section of the worm god Akka whom Oryx Slayed to learn the 'Taken' power. that worm was friggin massive if the dreadnaught was just a cut apart section of it. the size of the ship is seen best during raid it sheer length. Oryx has his worm inside of him...his worm one would imagine would not be much larger then he was. This should be a clear indicator that the aforementioned worm gods were once parasites feeding off of evil entities FAR BEYOND THE MIGHT AND POWER of ORYX. this has been the power of the ahamkara. By guiding the course of others for their own means through nothing more then being the Ultimate Parasite doing nothing more than whispering into the minds of their hosts and guiding them to immense power and conquest and feeding off of the hosts power the whole way...until there is nothing left to kill...then the worm consumes this ascendant god being... and the system that the hive used, the sword logic, killing more powerful things makes you stronger...by creating gods and then consuming them...the ahamkara have ascended beyond these gods by consuming them...as Parasites. their ultimate shape...the most successful form of live thus far revealed in the Destiny lore are the perfect Parasite. The Vex may have deduced this and seek to utilize this power and logic to complete their goals...without falling victim to these parasites... makes you almost think twice about wearing all that Ahamkara bone armor...Oh Bearer mine...
