Heck no definitely not snipers If anything it's the insane shotguns people run around with then like primary's literally the only thing I was being killed by in iron banner and trials either the universal remote or the party crasher
-
You're fried, shotguns don't even register half the time. At least my snipes usually never glitch like a party crasher point blank only taking half someones shield down, so chill.
-
Suros is the only primary I use in crucible...now I'm thinking what the hell did I miss out on prior to the nerf...it must have been fricken awesome....
-
Snipe this. Snipers should be nerved big-time one shot and your dead. give me a break all these weapons and I have and I have to hit them 8-15 times to make them dead BS
-
Snipers take skill to get a headshot. Definately do not agree with you one bit.
-
Yes and no, high aim assist snipers (banner sniper- zen) take less skill than low aim assist snipers like Gozan-c but because all legendary and exotics besides NLB have high aim assist it take allot of the skill out. I am a sniper my self and use Gozan-c allot but not in banner or trials.
-
There isn't any aim assist in destiny
-
Really? Check your info and try again.
-
I do by playing this game by year one and actually going against sniper pros with a sniper. The closest thing to aim assist is "center on target" which centres in on the closest player, allies included
-
eeeeyyy Gozen-C buddies
-
I am a main sniper and it takes skill because any other gun can stop you quickly now with flinching increased. I used a low impact sniper also so i go for headshots for kills.
-
That's the main reason I don't play crucible Iand iron banner and all that crap
-
I may suck but I suck because it's unfair
-
I have a 326 sniper rifle with explosive rounds and they still don't die I call BS
-
Explosive rounds doesn't actually increase the damage, it just splits it 50/50 between impact damage and AoE damage.
-
Or maybe I'm being a whiny bitch LOL

Thanks.

Both are fairly balanced, so I don't know what the problem is.
-
TLW isn't balanced. It wins most of its encounters within close to mid range. Doctrine was my counter to TLW until they nerfed its archetype. What else is there to counter TLW's incredible spamming mechanism?? Unless they nerf its damage as well to be balanced with every ttk primary, it will always win in every engagement. My only issue with snipers is that it needs more flinch added to it. If players are shooting snipers in the head, there is suppose to be more flinch than ever. And If I am shooting a sniper in the head, and he still shoots me with a headshot, then that is a broken weapon. I don't support nerfs. I support balance. There's a difference between the two.
-
The Last Word is fine since it's a weapon that simply rewards those who are able to use it. Yes, it has a fast time to kill. But it's only able to do this if you are skilled enough to use it. I say that players should be rewarded if they use a weapon that is difficult to master, especially if it takes your exotic slot. So long as you can counter it, I think The Last Word is fine. If it was nerfed anymore, it would end up even worse than legendary handcannons. I do agree with the sniper nerf though. I just hope that if snipers are modified, their handling speed stays the same.
-
I'll agree on TLW being balanced; anyone trying to use it for the first time will understand it's not a 'pull trigger and win' gun. And on the same note, I'll disagree on snipers, for the same reason. And the fact that attacking someone who's scoped in on you is a bad idea in general; they may not get the head shot, but I bet they could get double body and still live. Flinch isn't going to solve that one.
-
I don't ever go for double bodies, but even if you did, you just used 2 precious shots by doing that. Personally, I like the idea of rewarding the people who can pull off headshots in close quarters, so I think they're fine for that reason. The increased flinch would just make it so lucky players don't get so many headshots while under fire while skilled players will remain mostly unaffected. While I do think there are some good players who can snipe under fire, I think players should be punished more if they miss that first shot.
