This is literally the stupidest post I've ever seen. If you reduce the ammo cap, people who use it are going to have no ammo half the time. It deserves to be a really strong shotgun because it takes up your primary slot.

Special weapons are stronger than primaries in general. Having a special weapon (a stronger weapon) as a primary is not really balanced at all. Let me flip it. Imagine a primary sniper that's better than regular snipers. You'd be pissed

Did someone say "[armory]No Land Beyond[/armory]?"

Universal remote deals conspiracy theory D Damage at a fire rate faster than a party crasher, and You'll virtually get infinite ammo for it too. You spawn with at LEAST 15 rounds every time ( do you ever use all 15 before you die? No) No Land Beyond Basically has Infinite ammo too. But it has a slower rate of fire a less reliable scope, and less impact than a competitive sniper. NLB is not the sniper equivalent of a Universal Remote.

But it is. Know what they have in common? By equipping either one, any and all mid-range play is foregone unless you run with either a fusion rifle or a sidearm (which almost no-one does). You dedicate yourself either to short-range play (Universal Remote) or long-range play (No Land Beyond). Why shouldn't you be awarded that extra bit of range/impact/fire rate for that kind of sacrifice?

Im talking about effective it is. Why would you play against a gun's strengths. Why run out into open fire when you know you won't do anything if you shoot back. When you run a shotgun. Play close range. Cover to cover, gap closing style movements. If you run into a sniper lane without another sniper, you're dumb. It's your fault you died. And that whole handicap thing about losing mid range, is also tied to playing to the gun's strengths. NLB requires gun skill and good map movement. Universal only requires about two fingers and common sense Not to mention people in my SBMM bracket for trials tend to play more competently (~1600 elo nothing crazy but up there.) I dont know how many kills you've seen a person get with an NLB, but the guy with the UNIVERSAL will have more kills 9.9 times out of 10

A sniper is different. If you use a shotgun as a primary you have no midrange, closest to a primary you have is a sidearm, which are unuseable outside of close range. That's why you rarely see universal remote in sweats or trials, you're pretty much screwed if someone starts shooting you from mid range with a primary.

It's not like Gap closing with a shotty is hard. Just don't run into the middle of a firefight and go around or cover to cover. There's a lot of cover on every map and it's not that hard to get around even with a whole team of snipers.

But if someone starts shooting you with a primary when you aren't moving there's nothing you can really do to combat them
