The going back in time thing is only used to go back and change choices you don't like. That completely takes away from the impact of said choices.
I don't like the game as much as some of Tell Tale's stuff. It is still not bad though.

But you're choices don't have impact until hours down the line, at which point you can't rewind. I actually found it meant I thought about my choices more, as I could see the outcome of each dialogue tree and try to second guess how my actions might manifest in the future.
-
Yeah but knowing what will happen from each choice just doesn't appeal to me in that type of game.

But that's the thing. You don't know what's going to happen. Not really. Several times the game caught me out by things not progressing how I'd expected. I actually found I had no more insight into how things would turn out than I did in any other game of this type. On top of that, I felt more involved in the choices because I could thoroughly explore my options before crossing my fingers and hoping I'd made the right one. Still, we can't all enjoy the same things.

I would rather have the tension of choosing to who save in TT's The Walking dead without being able to go back and change it.
-
Just for the record, several people died in my play through of Life is Strange, and I wasn't able to go back. Can't argue with The Walking Dead though.

At some points you cannot just rewind and choose the other option, as I found out the hard way ={

I know that you can't rewind at some points but I just prefer how Tell Tale does their dialogue games.
