I applaud those trying to better the game, and at the same time, pity them. The avenues in which we communicate to Bungie does not need change, the communication of Bungie does. The sooner both players and Bungie see this truth, the sooner actual change will come to fruition.

  • The issue needs to be forced, sadly because bungie does not want the communication. Which brings up another issue...does a producer deserve our money if they treat their customers in the fashion bungie has? I say no.

  • Someone needs to be the one to make the first move. I don't see any sign of change from the current situation on their end. If we're going to be the ones to keep talking about communication and the need for it to be better, then we need to stop just talking about and actually start doing instead. If we see this through to its completion and still fail to make any progress afterwards, well then at least no one can say we didn't try.

Well, good luck. I've been around long enough to easily see that Bungie does not value a damn bit of feedback on bnet. Rather it comes from me, you, anyone else, or some soon to be possible guardian council. I bet your ass that as Destiny 2 starts getting closer to release, you will see an instant communication change from Bungie as PR pushes to strengthen the studio/player bond again just to help sales... soon after release I see a repeat downward spiral just as we had with Destiny. I'm not trying to shoot down your idea at all. I am pissed that Cozmo is dragging along the concept which is making people believe it will actually serve some sort of relevance in the decision making process. It's just more spewed garbage of "we are listening", "we value your feedback", "I'll pass it on to the devs", etc. etc.

  • Then why give money to a company like that? A company that so obviously shits on its customers.

I don't plan on giving them my money unless I see substantial change.

  • Good, and thanks for the respectable reply. To really change not just bungie, but the gaming industry as a whole...there needs to be more conscious and concerned gamers than there are droolers, fanboys and sheep. Unfortunately right now we are outnumbered 10 to 1.

No need to disrespect other gamers. Deep down we all just want a good, balanced game that is not a money pit full of lies and poor development decisions.

I don't believe I'm disrespecting other gamers as I believe it's more of a transition as gamers get older with more experience, then they become a conscious and concerned gamer. I can say that because I was one of them...a drooler/fanboy/sheep.

  • That's really why I want the Council to work out, because I feel the players need some actual security for themselves. I mean if Destiny 2 comes out and they swear up and down that everything is fixed but then just end up repeating the same shit from D1, the people who bought into it NEED to have some way of protecting their own interests and investment as well. This whole attitude where its Bungie's way or the highway really needs to get done away with, and the only way I can see that happening is if we manage to empower the Community and bring the people together to stand united. Otherwise, folks are just pissing into the wind while praying not to get wet.
