Understandable, but here's my logic: You don't see mass shooters walking into Kames to legally buy their firearms. Criminals will continue to buy weapons from the black market and use them for terrible things regardless of what the law says.

I dont think the point is criminals getting guns, if some mentally unstable guy has a rough day and he can pick up a pistol from somewhere with ease , you kinda expect there to be some mass shootings by mental patients rather than criminals
