The void is not the most powerful subclass. For that I would go solar. However, the void takes darkness and mixes it with light (Im a nightstalker I know what I'm talking about) this gives us a tactical advantage over the hive, the vex and the taken. The cabal and the fallen you just shoot. Anyway the advantage is this. Guardians who use the void are using the darkness against the very people who need it. They have no defense against it and the little bit of light added to the mix finishes the job. So is the void the most powerful subclass? No, but it is the most practical and overall the best.

I never said void was the most powerful or the best. Everyone has their own opinion on what the best is and I hav no preference And the Darkness and the void ARE NOT the same thing. The Light and the Darkness are both able to manipulate the Void, but neither of them are the void, they just operate within it as we do. The Darkness and the Traveler hav both taught their followers how to manipulate the void (Guardians, Hive Wizards, and Oryx, for example)
