Is Oryx in the Front or Back
Does Oryx spawn in the front of room or in the back?

Oyrx spawns at the very front of the ship. When we spawn we face oryx, as also face the very front of the ship. When oryx spawns, he faces us and he also faces the back of the ship. He's at the front, we're at the back. ----------------- The front door method doesn't work, as we're not in a room. We are outside the ship on the prow. The teacher, front row, church comparisons don't work either, as we are not in either of those rooms while fighting oryx.

1 ReplyIf you look at the cinematics and the fact the raid is basically a straight line, you fight oryx in the front of the ship (the prow), but facing the back.

7 RepliesSome people seem to want to liken this to a theater, allow me to point out the flaw in this logic. We are not going to watch some entertaining show, we are there to whoop the ass of a giant, ugly space monster. Therefore we are not entering a theater, we are walking onto a battlefield. On a battlefield the enemy comes from the front, during this encounter, Oryx and the majority of the other enemies such as the thrall and knights that are the first wave come from the front, even the tomb ship drops the vessel at the front. Oryx spawns in at the front, that is all there is to it.

Back is farthest away from Object. school - teacher is object. so if you sit closest to teacher, you're in "front" row. concert - musician/band is object. if you want to sit closest, you're in the "front" row. movies - movies screen is object - if you want to sit close as possible - sit in "front" row. Oryx - Oryx is object. plates closest to him are "front" row.

2 RepliesI'm pretty sure he spawns in the front. The room is his throne room isn't it? And it's made so he can look out to the front of the ship, kind of like the "bridge" in a space ship (Like Star Trek).
