Do players in last place on the leader board deserve legendary weapons...
Cause I would really like to know. BTW yes I know this game is based on RNG, all I'm saying is do bad players DESERVE good loot.
It feels like destiny's loot system is loyal to the bad players, I guess that's why no one ever helps them in raids and stuff.

Bad players don't deserve good loot, so if we give them something to fight for they'll stop being at the bottom of the leader board.
I bet half of the people who hate this post probably aren't that great at pvp.
The way bungie should fix this is to increase the chances of legendaries the higher you up on the leader board.

1 ReplyIt's simple. Yes. They invested the same amount of time in this match as you. Also somebody got the be last place. Only giving legendarys to the top players would keep a lot of people from playing iron banner.

If they would just make 1st place a guaranteed drop it would finally get more people to actually contribute,which is esp bad in IB now that just by showing up you can score 335 gear,make the top 3 positions have a chance but bottom 3 get only motes or SC...right now the ammount of people that dont try or barely try is both annoying and sad,esp for those that have both self respect and respect for others to actually try.

Depends on game mode imo, i had a 0.2 kd ended with 1550 points or so but did 8 captures and 9 assist Without all the captured points the top leaders wouldnt be scoring that great. But it also sucks when being nr1 and you get just a mote of Light.

I played IB this weekend and everyone got a reward on this one game, except the #1 guy who had 20 something kills and 12 caps. I think his k/d for the game was over 2+ and he had high score. Really? Because of this person we squeaked out a win and the game can't drop him a mote? A strange coin? Something? The game is real weird about that stuff, it's like the less you do = higher rewards. Does that make any sense???

Drops are based on YOUR games played , and YOUR RNG, nothing to do with the position. For example, iron banner drops are roughly every 6 games played, so around games 5,6,7 you'll receive a drop, it could be a gun, armour, or a ghost, and you'll get this drop WHEREVER you finish. It's the exact same in normal crucible, just a much lower drop rate. This is increased in the weekly PvP mode though. That's just a little worse than iron banner rates, maybe 12%/10%

I dont think it matters how many kills or what you do, during a match. If you've played 5 or so games in a row, you will receive something legendary.

I don't know about you, but if i get a legendary being in last place, is always with shit perks. I only get good drops when i finish in the top 3 spots.

Depends on k/D. I have seen the bottom of the leader board in points win the game for us. They join late, but go 10, or 5 kills with no deaths. They the real mvp. But if you're rocking a .3 k/D.. Then yes you deserve nothing but the ax handle of Lord saladin in your dark below.
