It paid for halo 5's content so far.
I imagine this is what they plan to do since it has worked well for Halo 5

Lol. It paid for 343 finishing their game? It's 100% for extra profits, I doubt any of it goes into funding "DLC" that's simply 343 adding features every past Halo has had.

343 said it goes to free monthly content and tournaments and such.
