So, my friends and I were running the Oryx Raid and we were doing fine, up until a certain point when we found we couldn't kill the Shade Oryx in the other dimension. We honestly don't know what's making this so complicated.
It seems like our time to kill him was cut to half and he never stops teleporting unless he's coming to charge us (which happens only once, and then we're suddenly out of time). It randomly started happening in the middle of the battle (we had failed a few times to kill Oryx and thus had to start again). Though, when we first started, it was fine, we killed him no problem, it seems like after the second failure is when he suddenly became teleport happy and our time was reduced. (We also took notice that, right before we started having this trouble, players weren't being brought into the other dimension at a regular pace, by the time the fifth person was in, we were already out of time.)
Has anyone else had this problem before? (Yes, we did try going to orbit and coming back, the problem persisted even when we switched hosts.)
Sometimes if you are playing with people from across the globe this will cause many issues.
I am from the United States, I've experienced many issues with the raid when playing with people from the UK or Australia.
Another issue maybe a member of your fireteam doesn't have the greatest internet then someone at their home starts watch Netflix or is streaming YouTube videos. This will cause their connection to be degraded significantly which in turn will affect your overall gaming experience.
