Don't bother hipfiring. Not worth it since they removed the extra damage. Try to aim by the chest, as you might get some occasional headshots. TLW is best used in that close-medium range where you would usually use a sidearm or fusion rifle, but remember, it's still a handcannon. TLW's reload is painfully slow and it doesn't have a very big mag, so avoid group encounters. Look to find 1v1 duels, and if group fights are a must, single out one target, and be sure to have adequate cover at all times to allow enough time to reload or disengage.
