This is sad. Really sad. Everyone hates cops because of incidents that have happened. Cops will not just shoot you for any reason. The person would have to be doing something wrong like resisting arrest or not putting your hands up or being disrespectful. Those cops died in Dallas trying to protect the somewhat peaceful regime of black lives matter. Not all cops are racists and horrible people. I do agree with the government part though. With Obama as president and the upcoming presidential candidates I can honestly say America is in trouble.

Edited by GSXHeckler: 7/10/2016 1:11:58 PMSo how you do explain the guy in Minnesota that complied and got shot anyway? EDIT: May I also remind you he opened fire with a child in the car. That situation could have ended even more -blam!-ed up.

Fine, the vast majority of cops will not shoot you for no reason then. Also, that Minnesota cop knew he messed up. He even states in in the video. I don't think he meant to kill anyone that day, he was just panicky. That is not to justify what happened though. He got way too jumpy when the guy admitted to having a gun. Someone said the cop was a five year veteran of the force, but he seemed to behave as one who just graduated the academy.

Because no one's talking about their mental health. How many of these people get evaluated after experiencing a traumatic event? Hearing how he was freaking out was different. You weren't hearing an asshole cop that was being a tough guy. You heard a guy that realized he really -blam!-ed up. I question his mental health. The other thing is how are they being trained. There are so many discussions that need to happen. I honestly believe a lot of cops are as lost as we are on how to solve this problem.

The guy was a possible robbery suspect and he reached in his pocket with his gun. He did not have a conceal carry license and no tail lights were out.

obama has definitely been a great president, market has gone on a tear, jobs everywhere, my house has nearly doubled in value. plus he seems like a generally easy guy to be around and is really well spoken. but he has nothing to do with this police situation. saying "cops" is stereotyping all of them. i know i've met some ass cops and some really healthy good for the community ones. the question should be why aren't people who have these hostile personalities being fired from the force?
being disrespectful
And ain't that just the best reason to be shooting people.
