That's a real tough one to digest
Just like with gun control, who knows if this will be the catalyst for change
We'll mourn, there will be outrage, protests will be widespread, people will post on every social media site about injustice and how our society needs to evolve... But does it ever?
There's been countless blatant examples of police brutality, school massacres, exposed flaws in our gun control policies... But no matter the carnage or injustice - nothing ever actually changes
Call me pessimistic or a defeatist, but that's where we are as a society. It's a sad realization to think that instead of these horrors bringing change, they will be sensationalized... But forgotten as soon as the next tragedy strikes

I feel the same way. America always seems to be the one country unable to evolve and grow to new heights. Very sad.
