I disagree entirely. People in the work force should be protected from unfair and unrelated standards in regards to getting a job. If my potential employer decides he wants me to take an IQ test when the position I applied for was "guy who wants to carry singles up a ladder" that seems like an unfair standard to me.
Now for regards to servicing people; my father is a proud owner of his own business where we mass produce silk screen printed clothing. His business is constantly growing and we're looking to surpass one million in sales this year. My father denies service to some people and sometimes entire school districts because we have to fight them for pay. This is really the only reason I see fit to stop servicing customers. Denying service to people because of their ethnicity, nationality, sexuality, is all just plain discrimination and that's wrong.

It may be wrong to you but to the Baker that refuses to serve a gay couple doesn't think so

Well of course they don't think so. Chances are they've been raised this way. And I'm sure they'll never acknowledge that they did anything wrong but now that they're store is out of business I'm sure on the inside they wish they just made the damn cake.

Why is discrimination wrong? The denotation, ignore the negative connotation. Why is recognizing differences inherently wrong? How do we legislate correct opinions? How to we define correct opinions?
