Good read. But I was always confused by the in-game killing of Oryx. It says we killed him in his throne, yet we killed him on the dreadnought twice.
Also intriguing rumor that Oryx lives on in the Touch of Malice?

When you kill him in the story missions you kill him on the prt of the Dreadnought that's part of our normal dimension. The Gate you open at the beginning of Kings Fall is the gate to his Throne World. Everything from the jumping puzzle on takes place in the Throne World itself. With regards to the Touch of Malice, kind of. The Touch was part of Oryx plan to achieve pseudo-immortality in the case he did in fact die. The Ravenous Heart that powers the Touch is composed of Oryx's Worm and a sliver of himself. The plan didn't work though because we rejected the Mantle of Taken King.
