Go away nerfherder. If it's so OP why do strikers KDRs still fall in line with the KDRs of all the other classes. Get a shotgun kinderguardian...

Clearly you did not read the thread, or you have at least heavily misinterpreted it. My main issue with the Shoulder Charge is not that it's overused or that it can 1hit-KO opponents, but rather that it can kill enemies out of their transformative Super Abilities. Of course killing transformed Guardians isn't going to have a noticeable affect on the overall KDR of Strikers; that's a horrible argument, and you should never use statistics to back up your claims. Only so many transformative supers are used per match, among many other factors, so of course the ability to kill them isn't going to have a noticeable affect on the KDR of Strikers as a whole.

It only kills you mid super if your super doesn't give added armor. Again you are a nerfherder. Stop whining and adjust
-
To my knowledge, the Bladedancer does give added armour, and yet I was killed by Shoulder Charge four times whilst under the effects of it. Serious question, but did you even read the thread? I'm not 'whining', I even offered a suggestion on what I believe would make it more balanced, which by the way, did not involve removing the insta-kill aspect of it. Also, these are literally just my opinions, and you have no reason to get offended by them.

Edited by The BEATDWN: 7/6/2016 3:39:27 PMBlade dancer doesn't give any added armor. It's actually one of the most complained about things on this forum. You are calling for a move to be less powerful then it is even though the class using the move is trending similar KDs to every other class. Thats whining if I've ever heard it. Your solution is a nerf so its a bad idea.

I heavily doubt that a single ability that has specific circumstantial requirements to use could possibly influence KDR in any noticeable way.
-
Then that argument goes both ways and you should stop complaining about it. As you said, It couldn't possibly influence KDR in a noticeable way. Just like viking funeral wasn't influencing sunsingers so they didn't nerf the.... oh wait yes they did for that exact reason....
-
I don't think it was the KDR that influenced the nerf of Sunslingers, so much as the fact that it was subjecting players to enormous burns that, if they didn't kill their targets, would leave said targets without the ability to regenerate for long periods of time; it was more of an annoyance than anything else in my opinion. Anyways, what I was saying was that the Shoulder Charge's effects on Super Abilities were the only problem, though if what you're saying is correct then this whole thread is no longer necessary as I made a mistake. Can anybody else confirm that Bladedancers do not receive extra armour/health when they transform?
-
Bungie released a chart that was aimed at the gunslingers since they got hit so hard by the nerfs. They make nerfs based on overall KDs. While shoulder charge is REALLY powerful, it doesn't make such an impact that titans are doing substantially better then other classes by using it, meaning while it is a powerful move, the striker's other attacks are weak enough to close the gap in the kills they are able to generate. As for bladedancer the lack of armor is essentially why the "hungering blade" perk exists. It makes it so you regenerate health after kills because a blade dancer visible in the open is supposed to be easy to kill. I can assure you there is no added armor. Last question, have you ever played as a striker? I find that the shoulder charge doesn't OHK most supers with the exception of gunslinger and blade dancers which are both designed to be kill easily out in the open.
-
I have used the Striker a little bit, though I'm not so big a fan of it; I prefer the Hunter's sub-classes, primarily because of their jumps. Thanks for clearing up the misconception with the Blade dancer though :)

Before you call for the nerf explore the ability more. I'm sure it will humble you. As you said, you use the hunter, if strikers attacks are so strong why main a different class? Its worth mentioning I'm a gunslinger main in crucible btw.
