Ghost Voice Opinion
So now that its almost been a year with Nolandbot(Nolandroid) who misses Dinklebot. Cause in my opinion and it may seem crazy to people but I liked Dinklage's voice acting much better Nolan's. Nolan's acting seems way to happy for my liking. I would kinda like to see Bungie add voice packs to put more voices for the ghost or to my actual character.

The dream would be to have Morgan Freeman voice the ghost. Wouldn't have to take cover or jump to evade anything. The enemies would just be awestruck by the sound of our ghosts voice and we can just stab or shotty them at will lol

How has no one suggested James Earl Jones, Patrick Stewart, Mark Hamill, Dwayne Johnson, Lance Henriksen, or Bruce Willis (pfft! and people thought Dinklage sounded asleep?), or Michael McElhatton (Roose Bolton from GoT). Or how about Lavar Burton? Friendliest ghost ever! "We've just woken the Hive, but you don't have to take my word for it . . . " There are plenty of women who could do a great job too. Jane lynch, Lisa Bonet, Katey Sagal, Sigourney Weaver, or Diana Rigg. There are tons more great actors/actresses and voice talents out there too.

He always sounded apathetic, like he didn't care about the player or what was going on at all. He definitely fueled the hate on destinys half assed story in its initial release. Nolan north does a better job of portraying a ghost. Sounding friendly, nerdy, and cowardly. Always cautious and curios. I'll take him over whatever shit Dinklage thought he was doing.

I think many users are missing Dinklebot due to nostalgia and them having heard those lines for hundreds if not 1000's of hours until they were changed. We had them engraved in our brains on how Dinklebot said the lines so any variation just seems "wrong" from that. Because make no mistake, his original lines were NOT great. We just remember them through rose-covered . . . umm, earplugs?

Both are good in some lines and poor at others. It makes me wonder at the direction. Really though you realize VA is expensive it doesn't make sense to have multiple voices to a single character when they talk so much. Especially when that character is not even you. Asking to change Ghost's voice is no different than asking to change Petra's voice.
