Wasn't this gun banned from competitive play BECAUSE it was to op?

Lol yeah I remember getting the gun (my first exotic) and taking it into the crucible for the first time. Was horrible at crucible (even worse than I am now) and pocket instantly made me god tier (bit of an exaggeration). Seriously tho, this thing really could map people with the 3 burst. I kinda miss having a few op guns in circulation, but these days op'ness is taken advantage of far too quickly. *cries*
