MGSV it's very long as the metal gear series is known for. This review I saw this guy is 45% complete and clocked in about 50 hours. Also fun fact the MGS4 has a cutscene that's over an hour.

The guy who directed it, hideo kojima, wanted to be a film director and used video games for that I don't remember the reason lol. It's 70% movie and 30% game :/

Edited by Watcher1905: 7/4/2016 7:24:05 AMMgs V doesn't have those super long cut scenes. It's much more gameplay heavy. So don't let that hold you back. The story however is very japanese. That means it's weird. Won't make any sort of sense to you if you haven't played the previous games.
