As somebody who grew up Mormon but left the faith due to my lack of belief, I can tell you firsthand they're some of the most tolerant people I've ever met. Sure they don't like gay marriage, and they still want you to join their religion, but the religion had a very heavy emphasis on choice and how in the end what you do is your choice and your choice alone.
Because they're told to be. I've seen Mormons put up with so much shit. XD
Seriously though. You're talking about the people who, after an anti-mormon was publicly showing sacred ordinances, and as he was being escorted off of the temple grounds, was only grasped firmly on the arms and lightly pushed through the gateway.
The people who are yelled at, and just smile and walk away.
