You do not get TLW from that questline, you still have to go through the RNG process to obtain it.

You didn't because Amanda does not give you TLW. TLW can be obtained through engrams, the nightfall, the Trials silver package, Xur, and the raid. I repeat, [b]YOU DO NOT GET TLW FROM THE QUEST[/b].
