I've literally gotten 8 of the scout rifles, and I still have yet to get a class item. I may just end up buying one and infusing it. I really hate that you have to wait until the iron banner class item just happens to be in stock for the event. If it has the reputation boost, it should at least always be available to buy at rank 3 at 280 light.
