Stop the stupidity, hunters STILL dominate crucible I rarely ever come up agains another warlock (let alone one who uses Sunsinger) hunters are still op and weren't even touched while the warlock completely lost a whole subclass

Lol. The warlock lost one grenade genius. Hunters lost basically all of them. Use fusion grenades and you will see true power.

Warlocks lost a perk actually and it affected all three grenades, melee and super. And flameshield (the only good melee perk) got nerfed twice.... "genius"

1 perk =/= subclass. The only thing reduced is the burn damage and the subclass is still very good.

The solar grenade can't kill anyone unless you have three or four and fusions only kill one person so I only generate two by the end off the super

I just use radiant skin and fusions which works really well for me.

The whole class was built around DoTs. Viking Funeral was the primary source of this. They get rid of the only DoT increasing perk in the whole game. The subclass has lost it's basic build.

2 fusions are really good because they weren't affected much. Everything else was nerfed. By my count sunsingers got 4 melee nerfs 3 firebolt nerfs and 1 nerf to solar and fusion grenades. You can almost multiply this twice because it's also our super but I wouldn't count burn twice on melee because it's still a ohk in radiance. But yeah, hunters got it real "hard"

I'm a Titan main but I'm just gonna call things as I see them. The hunter class is still fine. I've played on it since the update and it is perfectly ok. The warlock did lose one grenade but that grenade was basically their whole class (shows how much of a crutch it was). Other than that the sunsinger play style has to be switched quite a bit in order to still get kills.

Sunsunger are still awesome. By the way : Sunsinger + tlaloc = great. I never played Gunslinger (former main) since the stupid update, because it is just not fun any more. Instead I had great fun with the Sunsinger and the Voidwalker.

You call it a crutch? The grenade cannot get a single kill without the target being damaged from another source. Some people just didn't use the jump button. By the way, i'm a hunter main.

It was a crutch because it could take people out of the fight for 12+ seconds and could leave them one shot to any primary in the game for the entire duration of those 12+ seconds. I would have rather had it so all that damage was dealt at one time rather than eat away at my health bar knowing that I can't even try to engage the enemy with anything less than a sniper because I would get one hit. That's definitely a crutch kiddo.

I'm fine with calling burn a crutch. You need one when bungie made you with only one leg to stand on. Our upper body strength helped out too. Take it all away and you have an amputee who just throws fusion grenades on the battlefield : )

Even if they did hit you, you still have time to counter and use a healing perk or just trade. People were only thinking they were out of the fight because they were at a disadvantage. You wanna know why the primary weapon's ttk is low. It's because bungie want's the other player to understand why they are dying, give them time to react, and learn from how they died before. If the ttk became near instakill, it would turn into a who saw who first match, and that's not exactly skill.

Stated by a warlock with the over-shield crutch. Get hit? Over-shield. Simply melee someone? Over-shield. Storm Caller is overdue for an adjustment. The list goes on for days.

You can't have double chaining and blink on at the same time. The duration is the way it is because it takes the same amount of time for the lightning to kill as a primary and has already been nerfed. People who are chained only take half damage giving them more time to kill the stormcaller. Landfall will get you maybe 2 kills, but they gotta be right next to you. While the melee range is long, hunter throwing knife range is longer by far and does precision damage, and the smoke bomb is longer as well with it slowing, damaging, and blinding you while inside. Amplitude just increases melee range. The range of the super is equally to shotgun range. One good hit and they are as good as gone. Stormcaller is fine.
