I agree with you mate. I commented on destiny's Facebook page and was met with "get gud" or "blaming others for your own suckage". I'm not the best player by any means (avg at best), but I get paired with some pretty bad players who get like 5 kills and 15 deaths.

  • In some of my first few matches today, I was the only one that went positive, had a guy go 3-21, and had 2 guys with a combined 6-23. So 9-44 between 3 people. You got to wonder if at some point people are trying to do poorly. I know the worst players tend to get the most drops, but how are those people always on my team, or at least 75% of the time?

I found myself dying frequently because my team mates were dying too often, leaving me at a disadvantage during gunfights. Like I feel sorry for them and pissed off at them (they should be fighting people of lesser skill). I try to at least get a 0.8 k/d if I'm doing bad. I think sbmm has something to do with it to balance teams.

  • Exactly. When your teammates die it leaves more enemies running around shooting at you because they aren't dying at all. Shoot 1 guy two more shoot at you. No one on one's = constant l's

  • I 100% agree and know for a fact, that the worse your teammates are, the harder it is on us. Instead of going into 1 on 1 situations, teammates dropping the ball causes you to see 1 on 2 or 1 on 3 situations. If I get a team who gets below a .5 across the board, I'll almost constantly get double and triple teamed, super'd 5 times in a row, and have an almost impossible time breaking even.

I used to be able to lone wolf and flank while my team mates aggro the high traffic areas, but I find myself being forced to go with them when the teams are bad I don't like fighting where the team is because their bodies block my shot and line of vision due to congestion.

  • Ohhhh my sh!t yes. Tired of shooting at someone and getting pushed from the back or side, then dying because someone has to get in the middle of it and cause both of us to die lol. I've always been a run and gun or flanker in FPS games. It works well with COD, Battlefield and CS, but Destiny doesn't reward the same way. COD just went to futuristic and I really don't care for that in that type of shooter. If you haven't seen any gameplay of the new Battlefield 1 gameplay, go check out the celebrity match on YouTube. That game is going to be what takes up my future FPS gaming.

But I just got fed up with the complications. I adapted and run and gun is my style too. Destiny is my first PvP multiplayer game so I can't speak from experience for others. I saw the stream of it and it looks epic. I dont know if it's my kinda game since I'm used to smaller maps with fewer players lol

  • Those games reward good aim, fast reflexes and skilled players. They don't attempt to cater to making everyone a bullet sponge.
