Ran this yesterday with a new player and a mate, nailed it 1st run and spindle dropped.

Damn thats crazy but ive had a lpt of bugs for exotic drops and always have something at the postmaster ...did you get any marks also

You don't get marks from completing the spindle side quest/mission part of that story. You need to complete the story.

Yeah you do. But you have to finish, and they didn't. So, no marks, no Spindle, no bug. He also only tried 3 times, so don't know why he is claiming 5 attempts unless he means lifetime.
