Not to mention they can be destroyed by just about anything
-
Haha... oh you're serious? No!

He's kind of right, its pretty easy to dodge Its radius is in a relatively skinny but long cone. Its only good in tight areas, but very easy to dodge in big rooms or open areas.
-
Many of Destiny's maps consist of small spaces or tight corridors...

Not entirely. Lightning nades need a large flat wall to perform well. In most cases it will hit a player once, and if they player has thumbs, they will move out of the way.
-
So did trip mines... and you see what happened to them.
-
Trip mines got nerfed no reason. What you just said isn't relevant to lightning nades at all

Edited by badhorse2000: 6/24/2016 5:51:21 PM1) they work best in tight spaces 2) they need a nice flat wall to stick to 3) they are easy to see and avoid 4) they can kill you on their own, trip mines can't

Lighting grenades normally take 2-3 hits to kill depending on armor and health
-
Trip mines could kill you if your armor wasn't high enough. Lightning nades are easier to see and can cause damage to the titan on the first burst. Lightning nades kill you after 2 bursts . Tell me how thats "OP" again?

I never said they were OP. I was drawing parallels with the tripmine and they got nerfed. Logic indicates that lightning grenades will be next on the nerf block. I don't agree with that (I use them when I play as Striker with Armamentarium no less) but Bungie doesn't use logic when nerfing.
