Nope. Nothing to do with the vex AND no offence to bungie, I don't think they're capable of thinking that far ahead and putting something subtle in the first DLC.
It's just not a thing that bungie would've done that early on.

What proof do you have of them not thinking that far ahead? Might want to look up the Halo ODST Destiny easter egg

I've played all Halo games and know of the Easter egg. That was old bungie. This new bungie with people missing doesn't have the capacity to think ahead more than a month. It feels like they're constantly winging everything.
