But PlayStation has Möbius and the PlayStation NEO (Which is project to be based around VR a lot more than software currently is.)
Considering Möbius is working with the guys on Oculus Rift, Sony already has a future in VR gaming. So, sorry bud, Xbox came second again.
Don't worry, being an entertainment centre means you do other things so well....like being a jack of all trades. PlayStation is what it says it is, for the players.

Oculus comes with a controller for each headsee.

Aaaaaand that's a problem?

Congrats? You do realize there are more than just those companies working on VR right? The new Xbox is 3x more powerful than the beloved "PlayStation Neo". Of course you are probably ignorant to think everyone only caters to one console. But that's alright man. We're all still gamers going to enjoy the games and technologies coming in the future. You just need to get that thick skull out of your ass.

Edited by NegativeCycle: 6/17/2016 11:48:31 PMNo, it's not anywhere near 3x more powerful. Sorry to burst your bubble but total processing power of the scorpio is 6 TFLOPS, while the PS4 Neo is at 4.2 TFLOPS. In all honestly neither is really powerful enough to drive 4K resolution native with respectable frame rates. Expect a lot of upscaling and dynamic resolution scaling. When even the new GTX1080 PC video card that costs $600 by itself can barely drive 4K resolutions comfortably, don't expect a $400 - $500 console to do it. Especially when both are using AMD jaguar cores with their GCN architecture with far less processing power than the aforementioned GTX1080.

Good to see someone who doesn't talk out their ass. Your data is correct sir.

Edited by DrachenGeist: 6/17/2016 11:50:42 PMSo. Back to what the other guy said, show me a link :) Then it must have been the original Ps4 that it's 3x more powerful. My bad. Remember everyone makes mistakes. 👌🏻

Really I didn't know they released the tech specs for the neo already. Do you have a link to this?
-
I never claimed to know the Neo specs. I just went off of what Xbox said at the conference.
-
Did my own research in the meantime, nothing about the ps neo is confirmed as far as tech only rumored. Microsoft however has showed their hand with the announcement at e3. We will see how the neo falls into play since it's rumored to release later this year. If it gets pushed back we'll know why.

I can't stand the XBox controller regardless how powerful the system is. And there's no point making a system that powerful when companies that manufacture games can't be bothered to waste time and resources making games at that resolution and power capabilities. It simply isn't cost effective at the moment. Congrats on making a console that powerful, it's now never gonna be used to its full potential unless you're willing to lose money on the next generation of consoles and update the software in it to be next gen.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion man. Like Ps controllers I feel like I'm thumb warring myself. Way to small. The games are made to play whatever resolution we set up. Like I said PlayStation isn't the only damn console on the market that will be playing on 4K. Oh wait, Ps4 doesn't even play that as well. So how are you gonna use one argument for the Xbox where the ps4 Neo will be having the same issues. Isn't that the only reason why the PlayStation won the sales back in 2013? It was more powerful? But now all of a sudden power doesn't matter...uh oh. I smell hypocrisy.

I got into PlayStation because of Spyro 1 back when I was hospitalised on and off for 6 years. That's why I prefer PlayStation. As for power, that's not why I bought PlayStation, I buy PlayStation because I'm loyal. Power has nothing to do with it PlayStation 4K is a thing, actually. You're entitled to an opinion, but stop projecting them. You don't know me and don't know what I think.
-
Then why not just say that in the beginning? Instead of going on how the Xbox lost and blah blah blah that it's over and we won't be getting VR. You just completely changed the tone of the conversation. Don't rip on one console and expect nothing back. I never said that's why you bought it, that's why most players picked it up. Was for the extra super amazing pixel the PS4 has over the Xbox one. At least have a counter argument ready dude. Instead of flopping when everything you said was proved wrong and trying to play victim in the end.

Not everyone bought the PlayStation because of that. I just don't see the point of all the power that Microsoft is trying to cram into the Xbox 1S. If games made for the XBox 1 are played on the 1S then that power is meaningless.
