the problem I have with it is that it is a game that was released on "old gen" and feel they should finish it on it as well i have no issue with the concept of games no longer being made for 360/ps3 just they should finish it with them as it seems like a slap in the face to their consumers as if because they arent on current gen they are in some way less important or less valid to play the final product ill probably still upgrade as ill need to eventually anyway but still.

While i can see parts of what you're saying I look at it as we're closer to Destiny 2 and Rise of Iron is really an easy way to showcase it's full capabilities of next gen before Destiny 2 comes out. Also I understand it's tough at times to upgrade consoles, we are 3 years into the next life cycle. They've made it very easy to transfer over your characters to the next gen so what's stopping people from upgrading.
