Downloaded it and played a bit. It's kind of fun (since I'm on 360 and nothing new has come forth in a while), but the combat gives me nightmares. I don't like the "do nothing to guard" feature. Feels lame, tbh. I wish guard was just a button, not the lack of pushing any. I won't complain about free games though. lol. It's been fun to play against the younger ones in my house. They're surprisingly good at fighting games like Tekken.

Well technically blocking is holding the backwards direction or backwards+down, but there have been some times where it seemed like it blocked automatically. I'm not sure yet. Anyway, glad you're having a bit of fun with it ^^
-
It'll actually block both ways, holding back or not holding back, but certain types of moves can break a guard if you don't hold back
-
Huh. I don't remember them mentioning that in the fight lab. Do you know an example of when holding back would block an attack, but standing still wouldn't?

Edited by Psyntifik: 6/16/2016 4:05:24 PMBob's 1+2 chain... Or B+1+2... Some variation of that. The third and final hit requires you to hold back.

Is there a reason someone should just stand still? Or is it always better to hold back if you can?

Nothing major unless it's a competitive scene. Just spacing, really.
