The idea is supposed to make firing a gun something you actually have to do, not throw an instakill grenade and run away.

Yeah because of infinite grenades and all. Moron. It's no different than a shoulder charge or a sniper range warlock Melee that grants shield.

Well in theory we do have infinite grenades. You alwayd have one come back after 29 seconds as most have max discipline. So you always will get a grenade twice a minute. Thats an easy two kills by throwing a grenade. Its why they want grenades to be more of a strategic use, like it used to be in halo. You had to throw two frag grenades to kill someone, or stick them with a plasma grenade. So most grenades are supposed to act like frag grenades and be used to tip the balance your way, and sticky grenades are used to get the kill. On the topic of tripmines you had a grenade that even if it missed, it usually would get the kill because of its radius. It didnt make you have a requirement to land the stick.

What's the first thing a warlock or a hunter do in combat? Throw a grenade. If people would learn to use their primaries people wouldn't want grenades and shit nerfed.

I main a hunter, and I would be just fine with grenades being removed altogether.
