Do you guys/gals think the Garrison was hit too hard?
I love this exotic, never take it off my titan anymore, and I really don't feel it should have been given the same treatment as Shadestep. For one Shadestep is an ability that all Nightstalkers can receive. The TG is an exotic. They are not the same. You pass up so much more to use the TG than Shadestep.
I don't doubt that it will still be a good exotic, just sad that my favorite toy is getting changed.

It was a preemptive nerf on Bungie's part because they knew a massive whine-fest would be incoming the minute Shadestep was touched and not a Titan.

Partially.... I mean fighting against it just really gets annoying, but I dunno. It seems like the nerf made garrison become a trash exotic, esp since the cooldown timer will hit them harder than the ground shadestep, as you have to jump to actually activate the garrison..... I don't know.....

8 RepliesBungie have no idea what they are doing when it comes to nerfs. They look at numbers and try to interpret what they mean then make changes based on what they think is happening. These nerfs cannot be based on actual in game testing.

2 RepliesTG was able to use with every subclass for Titans. Yet we have graviton forfeit which still only able to use with nightstalker, I'm glad it got the same treatment even if it is more useful than shadestep

Well really it should be fine.. We can all make do, you'll just be a beautiful sky ballerina a little less often. :)

I guarantee the only reason they nerfed it is because they nerfed shadestep. I have tg but never used it, I'm not a big pvp'er. I don't use shadestep either but I can understand why they nerfed it, but tg is totally different imo, it's not nearly as evasive as shadestep plus it's an exotic and you have to be airborne to use it.

1 ReplyIt's definitely lost some utility. In PvP, it should still be useful. I've only needed a second boost to turn corners.. u can still do this with the 1 boost. Nerf is still a nerf. So it sucks ass IMO.

Where is the option for, I don't use it, but I still don't think it deserves a nerf.

Your telling me, titans only form of movement is forward now? They have become 100 times more predictable in movement
