"Errata" is not Pahanin's surname. [u]The Pahanin Errata[/u] is a "book" that Pahanin authored. Errata is defined as:

It is essentially a joke that Pahanin's record of everything is a correction of everyone else's stories and descriptions.

There is a lot of speculation and "non-canonical" information in your post as well, but "Errata" as Pahanin's surname is just flat-out 100% wrong. Those two items that you speak of are quotes from the book.
