"Errata" is not Pahanin's surname. The Pahanin Errata is a "book" that Pahanin authored. Errata is defined as:
2.
a list of errors and their corrections inserted, usually on a separate page or slip of paper,in a book or other publication; corrigenda.
It is essentially a joke that Pahanin's record of everything is a correction of everyone else's stories and descriptions.

There are two items with his full name on it, not The Pahanin Errata, but just Pahanin errata

Edited by Cayde Seven: 6/13/2016 6:09:15 PMI am absolutely sure. The artifact "The Pahanin Errata" is a little book. There is a lot of speculation and "non-canonical" information in your post as well, but "Errata" as Pahanin's surname is just flat-out 100% wrong. Those two items that you speak of are quotes from the book.

Well that's his last name/nickname now.

Errata is his last name / nickname now? So, wasn't before, but is now, based on the title of his book? This is rich.

You sure? I cousins sworn there were items that had his name on it.
