Battlefield feels more satisfying to play. It's not just about k/d, it has a deeper goal. Plus real team work.

Doesn't matter. Battlefield is appealing more and more to CoD players. Gameplay changed between BF3 and 4 to cater to CoD style of gameplay. Time to kill was lowered as well to make the game more run and gun. Also, wtf is up with quick scoping in BF4. Also, Hardline was CoD with better graphics. Battlefield is becoming CoD.

The vehicles and how they make you adapt to the situation when they are around. Just the pure epicness and unpredictably of the battles. This how ever is why I don't think BF will ever appeal to as many people. It has a much, much bigger learning curve than CoD, and most people just don't enjoy having to learn just to compete. Where as in CoD, it's very much a easy to play hard to master kind of game. Almost anyone can go on a decent streak at least a couple of times a night, simply due to the randomness off the gameplay. Dam your granny could get a kill in CoD fs lol. [spoiler] no seriously, look up elders react to CoD lol. Now it was only one elder, and it was only one kill in two games. But it shows that even by pure luck nearly anyone can get a kill in CoD lol [/spoiler] As cool as BF looks, it's still a BF game. So if people have been preferring to play the CoD games of the last 3 years I don't see why they would all of a sudden really like BF1, CoD will be fine.

Ehh, I don't know. If they make it well and do something unique enough to make the setting worth it, I'll buy it. Same reason people are so interested in WWI, a time period with less variety of real plausible weapons (you may have a sword and a horse but against a rifle... Whelp); if it looks like it can be done well and you use your setting to the potential it has then people will buy into it. It's not as if people wholly hate futuristic games or the free movement that Titanfall did so well, or we wouldn't be so excited for Titanfall 2. It's that we're tired of seeing it done in such a way that the futuristic setting isn't good for anything but decorating otherwise unexciting gameplay and set piece moments.
