Essentially, I gotta buy an X1, Destiny+Expansions, and RoI, before August? Damn yo my wife's gonna be pissed.
But seriously, if I'm on 360 now, and want at least my characters to transfer over to XB1, can I get away with just the console and game, saving the ROI purchase for later?

I'm sure there's going to be some sort of bundled package where every expansion is included in one deal. Even if there isnt, at this very time you can buy Destiny with TTK for n An average of $30 through Amazon or ebay. It might be around the same price for a used copy at Gamestop. So you have to figure in 3 months time, Destiny With TTK is going to cost anywhere from $20 to $30. Get ROI as an individual bought DLC and your total comes up to roughly $50 to $60

When you upgrade TDB and HOW tranfer over but you still have to buy TTK.
-
The Legendary Editions includes everything you bought (Vanilla, DB, HoW, and TTK)
-
TTK is included in Legendary Edition, I'm assuming that will work.

Yes, you can buy the console and Destiny before August and still have your characters transfer (according to what I've heard from friends) RoI is like TTK, you can purchase it later but you will miss out on the content as its coming out until you buy it

Edited by OGNoshkanok: 6/11/2016 3:07:24 AMGotcha. I'm just doing the math. $300 XB1 (gotta check craigslist for sure), $30 for Destiny Legendary Edition (takes care of game+expansions), $30 for ROI. Less than $500 by August. I think its doable. Think of the poor guys who spent $500 on the console alone, at release. We're getting a deal.

Note the $30 Destiny for the One I believe is only a limited time (by the 13th) so keep that in mind unless you plan to buy it used somehow

13th of this month?
-
Yes (I could be wrong but keep that in mind)

Then I'll buy that first, like tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up, Bungie salesman. Jk this shit sells itself XD

Pssh. I wish I were a salesman for Bungie I must just get a free copy of the game XD
