Touch of Malice? Black Spindle? Sleeper Simulant?
The problem wasn't gjallarhorn the weapon itself. The problem was that you could only get it by strict RNG.
You could argue the same about the SS, but the drop rate for the fusion parts are quite high.

Lets be honest, neither of those guns are as requested or notorious as gally. Wanna do VoG or Crota end? Wheres you gally? Nightfall? Where's your gally? Prison of elders? Where's your gally? Hardly anyone requests sleeper simulant, touch sure, black spindle.....there's other options, especially since people cant wield both touch and spindle.
