Instead of Skyrim Remastered, why not...
The Elder Scrolls Anthology on consoles? There's already one for PC, and I've no doubt many of the whippersnappers never touched the first four games. I certainly never touched the first three.
Skyrim's cool and all, but what would you rather have? One game from five years ago looking a bit prettier, or five enormous* games in one package? I know which I'd take.
[spoiler]*Was Arena big? I'm pretty sure Daggerfall was massive, but procedurally-generated.[/spoiler]

Yeah, i wouldn't mind trying out arena and daggerfall. But I feel like just Oblivion and Skyrim should be separate somehow, cause I only enjoyed those two. I didnt like morrowind at all. Just Oblivion and Skyrim remastered would be fine to me.

I'm pretty sure Arena was very large as well. Though, randomly generated except for some specific locations as well, just like Daggerfall.

I'm all for it, especially for morrowind, but I can't see how arena and daggerfall would work on consoles.

That would be way better. Unless they're also adding mod support for consoles, Skyrim Remastered just seems unnecessary.

2 RepliesThe ones that would be worth it are the games past (and including) Morrowind. Even then, we should not be getting a remaster, but instead a new game that does new things (and hopefully is actually good, unlike many of their RPGs like Fallout 4 or skyrim. Must be worth the time put into it.).

You're basically creating four entire games, unless you do some really awkward HD remake for Arena, Daggerfall, and Morrowind. It would literally be a company of less than 150 people working on 4 games potentially at once. I don't think it would happen, or at least all at once.

I'd rather have the anthology. Skyrim is dope, but it's not even that old. Would i buy a remaster? Yes, but I'd also rather have more than just a remaster.
